You can't quite trust yourself. And underneath that, there's a past that hasn't fully healed — a surface-level lift in mood isn't enough to offer real support. SR-12 combines two conifers with Vetiver, known as one of the heaviest and strongest grounding oils there is, designed to build stability slowly, without rushing old wounds.

Scots Pine (Grove Den) and Mountain Pine (Dwarf Pine) — both "pine," but from different species — layer two kinds of strength: the strength of growing straight and tall, and the strength of growing resilient in harsh conditions. Scots Pine is regarded in aromatherapy practice as a tonic that supports the adrenal system, and has been used to support recovery periods. Vetiver, a root-derived oil among the heaviest of any essential oil, supports the stability at the root of confidence.

Lemon and Tarragon add the clarity to see the present without being trapped by the past, and Lavender and Bergamot Reggio form the basic structure that supports the whole blend.

• Diffuse the oil version during quiet, relaxed time at home.
• Also recommended before moments that call for a bit of courage — mist around yourself beforehand.
