[HSP] No.9|Closure Mist
An unexplained anxiety or fear that's been sitting in your chest for as long as you can remember.
"I don't know why, but this scares me." "There's an unexplainable anxiety, an old feeling, lodged somewhere deep inside." Have you ever felt something like that?
No.9|Closure is a scent for letting go of the emotions and memories your brain keeps labeling as "unfinished," and for breaking the loop of thought that keeps them alive.
Our founder, Marian, once struggled with unexplained fear herself. In searching for the cause, she discovered that the amygdala — the brain's alarm system — keeps holding onto a sense of "danger" long after the situation that created it has changed. Left unprocessed, these old response patterns can still cast a shadow over your confidence and sense of security today.
Closing the Door on What's Already Over
If you find yourself drawn to No.9|Closure, that's often a sign something inside you still isn't finished — a past event, a heavy atmosphere inherited from your family, an old pattern that keeps holding you in place. This scent gently brings that invisible weight into awareness and quietly helps you close the door, telling yourself, "you don't have to carry this anymore."
Releasing the unnecessary tension tied to the past and restoring a sense of inner calm can ease anxiety and improve the quality of your sleep. It becomes a powerful tool for walking, once again, toward the life you truly want — free from the grip of old fears.
Why This Blend
Something you can't quite name stays lodged there, unfinished. What's needed in a moment like this isn't chasing it away — it's acknowledging it, honoring it, and giving it a proper close.
Myrrh, used in ancient Egyptian mourning rites, and Marjoram, known as the "herb of consolation," acknowledge the anxiety and fear by giving them a kind of send-off. Bay Laurel supports the actual decision to close the chapter, while Rose and Rosewood tend to the part of you that faced those old fears. Scots Pine (Grove Den) and Mandarin finish the blend with lightness and brightness.
Tips for Use: Healing Old Emotions
- When you want to break free of old patterns or ties: When you notice yourself thinking "why do I keep making the same mistake?" or "I want to be free of this old pattern," try reaching for the Closure spray on purpose. Let the scent be your cue to notice the loop of feeling or thought, and give yourself a moment to say, "it's okay to let this go now."
- For your child's "unexplainable fears": Also ideal for caring for a sensitive child (HSC) who's intensely afraid of something for no clear reason, or troubled by nightmares. For children under 8, we recommend simply placing the bottle under the bed while they sleep — the scent stays gently nearby, helping them drift off with a sense of security.
