"Why do I always feel tired in that place?"

— That may not be just your imagination.

In a certain room you feel heavy, at a certain seat you can't concentrate, a newly moved-into home won't feel settled... Have you ever noticed your body and mind changing depending on "place," even though you can't say why? No.18|Field Reset was born for people who are bothered by the influence of a "place's atmosphere" — a blend for space care.

What Is Geopathic Stress?

This phenomenon is called "geopathic stress" (environmental stress of geological origin). It's the idea that underground water veins, disturbances in strata, electromagnetic environmental factors, and the like, concentrated in particular places, may affect the physical sensations of the people there. Rather than a spiritual concept, it's one hypothesis that tries to explain, through environmental factors, "why only that room is so tiring."

One event that spread this idea was a survey conducted in 1929 in Vilsbiburg, Germany. When houses with an unusually high rate of cancer were examined, all were found to be built directly above underground water veins, drawing attention to the relationship between "homes and health." Since then, the concept has continued to be discussed in Europe in the context of alternative medicine and environmental hygiene (*not a medically proven theory; it remains a hypothesis).

HSPs are said to pick up such subtle environmental information more readily than most. Field Reset was born to keep company with that lingering unease — "it's dismissed as imagination, but I definitely feel it."

Why This Blend

Atlas Cedar supports the foundation — a tree used in temples and rituals since ancient Egypt, with a report that inhaling its main component cedrol raised parasympathetic activity — and Patchouli thickens that weight further. Lemon, Eucalyptus, and Clove are then added to "set" the air itself. Eucalyptus's main component 1,8-cineole in particular is an ingredient with a wealth of research on ease of breathing.

Finally, Palo Santo. Used in South America since ancient times to cleanse spaces, this fragrance is also used overseas in medical and care settings. In Dutch care facilities, Palo Santo room spray is sometimes used to clear a room after seeing off a loved one, trusted as a scent for "switching the air of a space" even in moments beyond the everyday. The warmth of Cananga and Blue Chamomile adds softness.

Tips for Use: Creating a Comfortable Place to Be

  • For switching a space: Spray in a room that feels "somehow heavy," at the entrance, or around your desk at work. You should feel the density of the air lighten.
  • For fatigue while out: When you feel drained while out, mist above your head and around your shoulders. It helps you switch your mood.
  • After moving or rearranging: For the unsettled feeling until you get used to a new space.
  • Essential oil on an aroma sticker: Put one drop on an aroma sticker and stick it to your clothes or belongings. The scent surrounds only you, even on the train or at the office. → View the aroma sticker
  • Diffuser or aroma stone: For when you want to take time to settle the air of a room that bothers you.

Want the scent to last longer? Essential oil (5ml / 10ml) is also available — choose it from the variants above.

Recommended For

  • People who tire easily for no clear reason in certain places
  • People who feel a room is unsettled after moving or rearranging
  • People who want to take seriously the unease about a place's atmosphere that tends to be dismissed as "just your imagination"

How to Choose Between This and No.10|Clean Energy

It's often compared with No.10|Clean Energy in the same Space Care series, but the kind of "heaviness" they handle is different.

  • No.10|Clean Energy: For temporary heaviness tied to "events," such as crowds or visitors. Suited to swapping out the air each time, such as after coming home or after receiving guests. A crisp scent with Juniper and Sage — think of it as a sharp reset.
  • No.18|Field Reset: For lasting unease tied to a specific place itself. It supports the time it takes to settle into "that space," such as a room just after moving or a seat you can't get comfortable in. A deep scent with Atlas Cedar and Palo Santo — think of it as letting the space slowly settle in.

As a rule of thumb: for "heaviness after people or events," choose No.10; for "unease about the place itself," choose No.18. Many people who feel both use No.10 for guests and No.18 for particular spaces such as the bedroom or study.
