03 — How to use

How to Use Aroma Mist

Aroma mist (also called aura spray) is essential oil misted together with alcohol in a spray you can use with a single spritz into the air or around yourself. Because it never touches your skin, it's an easy way to start even if you're sensitive to scent.
Please don't apply the essential oil or mist directly to your skin.

The Basics

Around yourself

Spray above your head or around your chest, and let yourself walk through the scent. It tends to come through most clearly around your chest and neck.

As a room spray

Use it to shift your mood, or to change the air in a room before sleep.

By the front door, when you get home

One spritz right when you're back. An easy ritual for resetting whatever stimulation or lingering feelings you picked up while out. Cleansing works well here.

How to Choose a Scent

Choosing from the HSP Series works a little differently than choosing a regular aroma.

Don't go by "a nice scent" or "one you like."
Choose the one you feel most strongly, or can't quite explain why you notice.

A sense of relief in your chest, or the opposite, a flicker of unease — both are physical reactions that can hint at what your nervous system needs right now.

Why Your Response Can Change

Using the same scent every day, how it feels can shift over time. If something that soothed you yesterday doesn't quite land today, that shift may simply mean the need it was meeting has changed.

How you respond to a scent reflects your own changes. Noticing "what feels strongest today" each day can even become a way of checking in with yourself.

Your response can shift within a single day, too. Feeling clear in the morning but wanting a different scent by evening is completely natural.

New Here? Start With These Three

If you're not sure where to begin, we recommend starting with these three.

No.1 Cleansing

Clear away stimulation and lingering feelings you've absorbed from the outside. A foundation for setting boundaries.

No.2 Protection

For crowds or relationships, when you're easily affected by other people's emotions or the mood of a room.

No.3 Grounding

Reconnect with solid ground. For scattered thoughts, when it's hard to feel present.

Once these three feel settled, the other scents tend to come through more clearly.
