We've recently gotten a few questions about FUUKA, asking "can aroma be used with pets too?" At the moment, FUUKA doesn't carry a dedicated pet aroma product, but I reached out to Rico, the founder's son at Linde, for advice.
Based on Rico's advice, here's the usage we'd suggest.
Excerpt From Rico's Email:
"Among what FUUKA carries, I think No.13 Fine Dreams would be best for animals. Cats are extremely sensitive, so I'd recommend using it only through a diffuser. For dogs and livestock, you can put a few drops in your palm and then energetically rub it into their fur. It works well to place one hand at the base of the tail and the other around the chest."
"I've heard many striking stories about animals, especially dogs and horses. For example, going from restless barking, kicking, and running around to sleeping quietly and peacefully."
"There's also a line at our shop in the Netherlands called 'Bella's Cure,' developed specifically for animals. I'd recommend that too, but I think it's best to start by trying Fine Dreams first."
Based on Rico's advice, we learned that our Fine Dreams aroma can also be applied with pets.
That said, since this is a highly concentrated essential oil, if you're actually handling it directly, we'd recommend diluting it in something like jojoba oil first.
