We've received several reports about our current imported bottles: "it stopped spraying partway through." There isn't a single cause — we believe the following factors are overlapping.
・Because FUUKA's aromas are complex blends of multiple essential oils, the materials in the imported spray bottle (the straw, gaskets, etc.) don't always hold up as expected against certain components
・Japan's climate (high heat and humidity, temperature swings) may be affecting how the bottle and spray head degrade over time
・Many customers use the product over a longer period than we originally anticipated (roughly 2–3 pumps a day, used up in about 4–6 weeks), leading to more wear from age
Note that our currently sold domestic (Japan-made) bottles use a thicker straw, so this issue is much less likely with them. This notice applies specifically to the current imported bottles.
■ Please Try This First
If it feels like it's "stopped spraying," please first try opening and reclosing the cap, and washing the spray head in lukewarm water to clear any blockage in the pump. This resolves the issue in many cases. The cap tends to loosen more easily in hot weather, so please check that as well.
■ If It Still Doesn't Improve
We'll send you a replacement spray head free of charge. Please contact us via the contact form, and be sure to include:
1. How many you need
2. How much product you currently have left (an estimate is fine)
We'll ship it out once we've confirmed it against your past order.
If you need additional replacement heads beyond that, you can purchase them from the consumables page below (set of 2, ¥300).

Going forward, we'll include a replacement spray head with any new purchase (1 set of 2 for a regular order, or 2 sets of 4 for bundled items like the 9-piece set). If the head you have starts spraying poorly, please switch to the included spare. If you use the product frequently and don't need the extra head, let us know in the order notes field and we won't include one.
Also, using an essential oil soon after opening it gives you the best scent experience. For a 10ml bottle under normal use, about 4–6 weeks is the general guideline.
In summer, please avoid direct sunlight, high heat and humidity, and leaving bottles in a car, and store them in a cool, dark place.
We've kept the price of our 10ml mist low since launch, out of a wish not to create a divide among the HSP community. If the issue is still difficult to resolve even after the steps outlined here, we may need to discontinue the 10ml mist, or raise prices as part of switching to domestic bottles. We'd like to avoid this if at all possible. We're sorry for the inconvenience, and would appreciate your understanding.
